The acquisition equips the company with more comprehensive cybersecurity and enterprise network design capabilities.
InterVision has announced the acquisition of Fotis Networks, an IT professional services and consulting firm. InterVision joins the flurry of companies rushing to strengthen their existing offerings by snapping up other capabilities, in this case beefing up its engineering talent and expertise providing professional services to clients in the commercial, health care, education and government (federal, state and local) sectors.
According to Aaron Stone, president and CEO of InterVision, the company’s clients are moving into more complex environments that require greater expertise in cloud services, security, enterprise infrastructure and compliance. Bringing Fotis on board is designed to add technical depth to these areas.
“InterVision is a strategic service provider that lets our clients choose the right premise, right technology and the right model to suit their requirements,” said Jamie Lee, chief revenue officer at InterVision. “The Fotis acquisition enhances our technical skill set across networking, cloud, security and key emerging technologies. We are excited to have more resources to grow our professional services organization and expand our MSP offerings.”
Fotis brings to the table a robust staff of engineers, SMEs, project managers and technical writers, all of whom know their way around managing projects from inception, architecture and design to build-out, replacement or relocation. Fotis is also an InterVision Service Delivery Partner and has provided professional services to InterVision’s clients for nearly two years. Areas of expertise include:
- Enterprise infrastructure and security
- Cloud computing
- Information assurance and compliance (NIST, FISMA, RMF, FedRAMP, NENA, HIPAA)
- Cybersecurity assessment and authorization services
- Disaster recovery solutions / business continuity planning
- Data center design / build-out / relocation
- Unified communications and telephony
This is the sixth acquisition InterVision has completed in the past three years, including those of Bluelock and Infiniti Consulting Group.
