iOS 13.2 beta 2 rolling out to developers with new emoji, Siri privacy improvements – PhoneDog

Apple’s iOS 13.2 beta testing continues today.

Apple just released iOS 13.2 beta 2 and iPadOS 13.2 beta 2 to registered developers. It’s available by going into Settings > General > Software update on your iOS device, or by pointing your web browser at Apple’s Developer Center.

There are a few notable features included in this iOS 13.2 beta. First is the Deep Fusion camera feature that rolled out with the first beta, using pixel-by-pixel processing to optimize your photos for texture, detail, and noise.

The other big new addition with iOS 13.2 beta 2 are new emoji (via MacRumors). Teased by Apple earlier this year, there are 59 new emoji coming to iOS, including a sloth, guide dog, prosthetic arm and leg, butter, and a yawning emoji.

Apple previously only said that the new emoji would be released this fall, but now it looks like they’ll be included with the update to iOS 13.2. There’s no word yet on exactly when iOS 13.2 will be released to the public, but we could see it roll out later this month or in November.

Finally, the iOS 13.2 beta 2 update adds the ability to delete your Siri and dictation history and easily opt out of having your audio recordings shared with Apple (via MacRumors). These changes are in response to the news that came out earlier this year that revealed that Apple had contractors listening to users’ Siri recordings.

Also released today is watchOS 6.1 beta 3. There haven’t been any major new features found in watchOS 6.1 yet, so it may be focused on squashing bugs and improving performance on the Apple Watch.
