“One of our region’s most highly anticipated and premier networking opportunities” is coming Sept. 30.
According to Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber President Ron Hinrichs, that’s one way to describe the annual Conference of Western Wayne Business Leadership Banquet.
“The banquet provides our business community and the leadership of our western Wayne County communities with a unique experience to hear from and network with various community pillars, and the movers and shakers of metro Detroit,” he said. “I am grateful for the partnership the SWCRC enjoys with the CWW — and many area chambers, including the Livonia Chamber of Commerce — to host this annual event for our membership.”
The keynote speakers for the event are Goodwill Industries Detroit CEO Dan Varner and Consumers Energy Vice President Roger Curtis.
The event is slated to kick off with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a presentation at 7 p.m. The location is the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, 20900 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn.
Hinrichs said “hundreds” of business and political leaders — including corporate executives, small business owners, nonprofit leaders and elected officials — typically attend the event, which is in its seventh year.
Individual tickets for the event are $125. To register, visit bit.ly/2kAw3Lj.
