Norwalk Now and the CT Women’s Business Development Council will host a networking and panel discussion event in celebration of National Women-Owned Business Day at Norwalk’s Wall Street Theater on Wednesday night, May 1.
The event will feature professional women from the hospitality, fashion, entertainment and beauty industry.
Beginning with a networking reception, the event will be followed by a discussion with some of Norwalk’s most dynamic women in business.

Suzanne Cahill, the owner of the Wall Street Theater, will provide a sneak peek into the process of revitalizing the historic theater and creating an environment that not only nurtures talent, but entertains the public.
Restaurateur Greer Fredericks will take the audience on a virtual tour of the food service industry and the making of Peaches Southern Pub & Juke Joint, an amalgamation of her years in both the entertainment and hospitality industries.
Katia Garcon of House of Katia, a personal styling boutique dedicated to helping men and women live their best life, will take the audience through her unique business plan, self-promotion practices, and target marketing.
Providing a window into the exciting world of beauty is Thea Tsiranides, the owner of Salon Être and the area’s most prestigious training ground for young stylists, SoNo Academy. Thea’s shares her journey from colorist to entrepreneur to teacher.
Partnering with Norwalk Now is the Women’s Business Development Council of Connecticut, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing the tools and resources to help women thrive in business.
