Wacom's new 32-inch Cintiq Pro is at least four times bigger than an iPad – The Verge

Wacom announced over the summer that the company would be adding 24-inch and 32-inch Cintiq Pros to its lineup, and the flagship tablets debuted tonight at CES for the first time. They feature edge-to-edge glass screens, and work with the Pro Pen 2 stylus, which boasts 8,192 pressure sensitivity levels.

The 24-inch model will have separate pen-only or pen-and-touch display versions and will be available in late February. The 32-inch will only be available in the pen-and-touch option, and will be available sometime in the spring. And since Cintiq Pros don’t have ExpressKeys (shortcut keys you can program to undo, copy, paste, etc.) built-in like the old Cintiq 27HD did, the ExpressKey Remote comes with the device. You’ll have to buy your own stand if you want one, though.

Seeing it in person, I was unprepared for how massive the screen would be. This is what it looks like in comparison to my on-the-go setup, the Clip Studio workspace on my 9.7-inch iPad Pro. It’s that huge.

Obviously, at $3,300 for the 32-inch version and $2,000 for the 24-inch, these super tablets are geared more towards professionals and studios. For the rest of us, we can dream about the current 13-inch and 16-inch versions which cost $1,000 and $1,500 respectively, if we save up enough someday.
